The management approach in this book was oversimplified. It had a couple of good points, like people who feel good about themselves produce good results. This is accomplished through realistic goal setting and knowing what a good outcome is. The one minute praising also helps with people feeling good about themselves. The approach seems a bit fake though. The last step in the one minute reprimand was a good reminder to not dwell on issues, but then what do you do with repeat offenses.
